My deep dive research involves taking a look at the more dominant fashion houses - their couture shows, and from there, finding a sort of...repetitive style that I really feel like I can engage in. From this I have found that Gothic Romanticism and Futuristic Utopian Fashion are very influential and in alignment with my ideas and interest.

My entire purpose for this research is to help pinpoint a design style for myself so that I can start to become more informed and make more intentional designs and creations.

Lately I have really been taking a lot of time to focus on design methods and techniques. One of my main goals on my design journey is to get to a point where I can accurately create very elaborate and expressive pieces that I see in my head and sketch on paper.
2022 Street wear trends
2022 Street wear trends
I am super excited for these 2022 trends. I most excited for the Y2K trend, it really gives me clueless vibes; the plaid, the mini skirts, I just loove it! Another favorite of mine is the bold colors, I feel like the pandemic was so gloomy and stressful that we need a little bit of fun and bold colors to brighten up our days. Some of these trends are apart of so many of my SS '22 design inspirations. Let me know what you all think about these trending streetwear styles. What are you most excited to see? what is your least Favorite?
Cant wait to hear your thoughts!

If Millennials had a time machine
If Millennials had a time machine
I slightly mentioned the Y2K trend in my last post BUT! this trend is coming back in every aspect and I am here for it. Something just tells me that we are going to kill this Y2K trend and make it look good! Now dont get me wrong, I love everything 90's but the wrinkled clothing and the denim styles did look out of place at times.. sheesh. Good thing we get to start over right? I mean the trends that I have seen so far have been super cute. I cannot wait to dabble in this trend myself. I'm posting some 2000's fashion below just incase we forgot what it looked like. Also, I'm linking another article that talks about upcoming trends including Y2K. What do you think about the Y2K trend? Is there anything you want done differently this time around? What other fashion trends/ outfits would you like to see from me?
Can't wait to hear back from you all!
