Another legendary designer gone to soon. At some point I think we all aim to reach a level of design where people know it’s your design without even seeing a label.

Over the weekend, I took a trip with some friends to the cabins
in TN and now that I’m back I’ve realized it’s probably one of the most relaxing trips I’ve ever been on. As a creative, I feel it’s important to take some time to ourselves and just do a reset. Your mind is constantly going and at times it can be very overwhelming sometimes to the point you procrastinate or mess up on projects it would take no time to finish. Go outside & RELAX

Idk about anyone else but personally I’m a very hands on designer, I get the best ideas when I’m out in the field.. going to different fabric & leather stores. It’s something about feeling the items and seeing how they move in real time that really helps you become in tune with the fabrics while creating.

Even though it’s been a little over a month, it still feels surreal that the late designer has left us. He was a huge inspiration to me as well as many others that look like me. He showed us what was possible, he bridged the gap between design, hip-hop, and streetwear culture. It will be fun to watch how his legacy influences the next generation of designers and fashion houses. May he live through us all

When I’m not working on clothing designs or making samples, I always try and make time to go back to my first love; customzing shoes... here we have a pair of Nike Dunk Highs I dyed with coffee to give them more of an aged look
Looks like you can be first!
