Currently Looking Into the Works of Tim Walker (Fashion Photographer), Gareth Pugh (Designer), and Serge Lutens (Art Director).
Thinkers & Influencers Pt.2
Thinkers & Influencers Pt.2
My deep dive research involves taking a look at the more dominant fashion houses - their couture shows, and from there, finding a sort of...repetitive style that I really feel like I can engage in. From this I have found that Gothic Romanticism and Futuristic Utopian Fashion are very influential and in alignment with my ideas and interest.

Thinkers & Influencers
My entire purpose for this research is to help pinpoint a design style for myself so that I can start to become more informed and make more intentional designs and creations.

Lately I have really been taking a lot of time to focus on design methods and techniques. One of my main goals on my design journey is to get to a point where I can accurately create very elaborate and expressive pieces that I see in my head and sketch on paper.

Balenciaga Inspo
Balenciaga Inspo
Balenciaga’s definitely my favorite major fashion house since I’ve been interested in fashion on a more academic level #lol. My obsession truly started with the knife boot and pretty consistent all black + primary colors palette which is just so good. Recently I’m loving the oversized blazer & broad shoulder silhouette, so I’m incorporating it in some of my designs.

Marine Serre Upcycled Pieces
Marine Serre has been one of my top designers since their coming out. I think they use a very contemporary style of collaging and draping up-cycled garments. Photos are from their Spring 2022 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Linked is their collection film 🖤
