When it comes to product voting, you’re voting on a set of Beringei-approved designs from our community of designers. They’ve put their hearts and souls into each and every piece, but we need the voice of the public to let them (and us) know which ones are the best of the best.
When you’re ready to sit in that driver’s seat we mentioned earlier, all you need to do is create an account and click on the Vote tab at the top of the site. From there, you’ll choose “Vote for Apparel Designs” and you’ll be presented with the first from a set of designs.
If you’re on a desktop, you’ll see options for “Make this”, “Favorite”, and “Skip”. To cast your vote, select “Make this”. If you’re not sure but want to save it to look back on later, select “Favorite”, and that design will be placed in your Favorites folder, located in Account → Profile → Favorites. And if you’re just not that into the design at all, go ahead and select “Skip” to see the next design without casting a vote or favoriting.
If you’re on a mobile device, you’ll get the full “swipe” experience. The process is essentially the same, with the only difference being you’ll have the ability to swipe left to dismiss a design or swipe right to cast your vote! To favorite a design, simply select the Favorite button underneath the image, and the design will be saved to your Favorites folder, located in Account → Profile → Favorites.
For each voting experience, you’ll see the designs you’ve voted for appear in the five boxes underneath the image. If you ever want to “unvote” for a design or review your votes, just select the design from the boxes and either swipe left or select “Skip” on that design. Once you reach the end of the set of designs, you’ll be presented with a screen letting you know you’ve seen all of the design options for that month. If you aren’t finished with your votes, or would like to review the designs again, simply swipe the screen away on mobile, or select “Keep Voting” on desktop.
Each voting cycle will last for four weeks. The set of Beringei-approved designs will be available for voting on Beringei on the 1st of the month, and the designs that have been selected will be announced on the 29th of the month.
Each month, you’ll have 5 votes to cast throughout that voting cycle. It’s entirely up to you whether you’d like to cast all 5 votes in one voting session, or spread them out throughout the month.
As difficult as it may be to choose, you only get 5 votes per cycle. If you attempt to vote on a 6th design, you’ll be met with a screen letting you know you’ve reached the limit that month, and will be prompted to review your current votes and edit them to continue. You can review and change your votes up until the end of the day (11:59EST) on the 28th of each month. At that point, they will be locked in and uneditable.
